Craigslist
- I found a former bride selling 28 clear cylinder vases from her wedding. I met her in the parking lot of a local university and made the transaction.
- I found another bride selling manzanita branches from her wedding. I went with my MOH to the bride's to pick up the branches.
- I decided to branch out one night and search the Chicago Craigslist postings since my MOH lives in Chicago, and I try to go up there when I can. I ended up finding a bride who was selling 18 table number holders. My MOH graciously agreed to meet her at a Starbuck's to make the transaction for me.
- I LOVE Groupon! So much that I'm signed up to get alerts from cities other than my own. :)
- I purchased 2 private dance lessons and 1 group class at Arthur Murray Dance Studio for $25 (a $130 value).
- I bought our flower girl her gift with a Groupon-- $17 for a $35 gift cert. to Love Stamped. I got her name hand-stamped on a sterling silver disc with a swarovski crystal charm in her birthstone color. The Groupon covered everything--the cost of the necklace and shipping.
- I love it when they have Groupons for Canvas on Demand. They run this Groupon quite often-- it's $45 for a thick, gallery wrapped 16x20 canvas (a $126.95 value). I did this with one of our e-pics. I love it! This is also a wonderful shower and wedding gift for others! I've given it to many of our friends.
- Not necessarily wedding-related, I purchased a 60 minute hot stone massage for $35 (a $90 value). Good for wedding planning de-stressing! :)
- Groopdealz is a lot like Groupon.
- I'm getting FI's wedding band with a Groopdeal-- $60 for any tungsten ring from Infinity Tungsten and free shipping. The wedding band FI likes is $169. Yay for saving $109!

- I bought all of my votives from Michael's. 50% off, of course. 12 for $3.99.
- Things I've purchased from Michael's: circular hole punches, scrapbook paper, ribbon, styrofoam balls, aisle runner ($15! 50% off coupon!).
- I wish JoAnn dished out the 50% off and 40% off coupons like Michael. Prude. Oh well, I still frequent her store... with my 40% off coupon in hand.

- I haven't purchased anything for the wedding from Goodwill... yet. Stroll down their glassware and houseware aisles. They usually have great vases for $.99 to $2.99. I see a lot of Mason and Ball jars too.
- Watch for their sales too! They often have 50% off Saturday-- everything in the store is 50% off!
- Where everything costs $1!
